Everything the app has to offer.
Go around the cities, drive through the villages, follow the rivers. Here the road becomes a journey again.

The app’s interface is currently in French. The screenshots show it as it is.

Step 1 · Setting off
You choose where you're going.
You enter where you're leaving from and where you're headed. Add a stop if the mood takes you on the way. Within seconds, a different road appears.
Two fields. No fuss.
But before you set off, one question: how far do you want to get away?↓

Step 2 · The pace
You choose how you want to travel.
The most direct when time is short. No motorway when you want to breathe a little. Back roads when you really want to lose yourself. Three ways to reach the same place.
You decide how far to go. Toll-free, if you'd rather.

Step 3 · Clear of the big cities
You leave the main routes behind.
The app goes around the big cities, their ring roads and their crowded approaches. You decide how wide a berth to give them: the centre, the built-up area, or a broad ring.
You see the city from a distance. Not through your windscreen.

With the cities out of the way, on to what you actually came for.↓

Step 4 · The good bits
You discover the road.
Villages with character, viewpoints, rivers, mountain passes, picnic areas. The app spots the gems on your drive. All you have to do is ease off at the right moment.
Everything worth seeing, without having to look for it.

The road is already a destination.

Step 5 · On the road
You enjoy it, the app does the guiding.
Turn-by-turn voice guidance, live position, recalculation if you change your mind, an arrival time you can trust. You keep your eyes on the landscape.
The navigation gets out of the way. That is the whole point.
Even where the signal stops.↓

Step 6 · Far from anywhere
You carry on, even without a signal.
Download your region before you leave. Deep in the countryside or up in the mountains, the map is already in your pocket. The road carries on, even when the signal goes.
No bars. No problem.
All these roads lead to the same place: arriving relaxed.↓

You arrive relaxed.
You drove a little slower. You arrive a great deal lighter. The journey had begun long before the destination.

Your questions
Tout est clair, tout est honnête.
Is the app free?
Yes. The essentials will always stay free: a lovely route around a city, the choice of pace, avoiding tolls, voice guidance and the GPX export. Premium only adds comfort.
Why is there a Premium?
Premium deepens the pleasure: avoid several cities at once, every discovery layer (villages, monuments, viewpoints, picnic spots…), offline maps and unlimited journeys. It keeps an independent, ad-free project alive.
Does it work offline?
Offline maps (download a region and drive with no signal) are part of Premium — ideal for van life and holidays far from coverage.
Does it work with Android Auto?
Android Auto is not available yet; it is on our roadmap. Today the app runs on the web, and soon as a native Android app.
Can I use it every day?
Yes. Even the drive next door can become an outing. It is not just for the holidays.
How do you choose the roads?
We go around the big cities, their ring roads and their main routes, then link up the back roads and the gems (villages, viewpoints, pockets of countryside), with a dedicated routing engine built for beauty rather than speed.
There is another way to travel. A road where you stop more often, where the miles matter a little less than the memories.
That is exactly why we created La Route Buissonnière.
